A nonprofit group providing community, tools and resources for single parents “in the middle”.
I am a single parent from the south side of Chicago currently residing in Texas. Moved down in 2008 with my daughters, now ages 26 & 29 additionally I now have a 8 year old grand-baby.
Over 20 years building relationships, coaching and providing a listening ear.
A bonafide foodie that enjoys spending time with my large family of 8 sisters & brothers, traveling and experiencing new restaurants.

Our Mission
Our mission is to partner with single parents to provide tools, necessary applicable resources, shared experiences, a listening ear and encouragement that will assist in a effective, healthy relationships with their children and positive parental self-evaluations. Creating community through café’s; a village.
Did You Know
Did you know that according to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, around 4 out of 10 young women become pregnant before turning 20? Many of these young mothers and fathers face obstacles that can affect their child's quality of life and their own, especially for those who do not qualify for public assistance.
In Dallas County, more than 80% of single-parent households are headed by women. These young single mothers often face challenges such as financial instability, lack of access to affordable childcare, and limited job opportunities, which can make it harder for them to support themselves and their children.
On the other hand, young single fathers in Dallas County and the U.S. also face their fair share of challenges, including custody battles, child support payments, and limited job opportunities that allow them to provide for their children.
Despite these challenges, both young single mothers and fathers continue to persevere and raise their children with love, care, and resilience.
At our nonprofit organization, we believe that every single parent deserves access to resources and support, regardless of their financial situation. That's why we offer programs and services that provide young single mothers and fathers with the resources they need to navigate challenges and build a better life for themselves and their children.
